Threading is an ancient method of hair removal originated in India over 6000 years ago. Threading is a way of removing hair (for eyebrows and other parts of the face) using thread as opposed to wax, tweezers and alike. Advantages for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is more gentle on the skin. The cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hairs in the thread, which are then lifted quickly from the follicle. Eyebrow Threading removes an entire line of hair at a time, resulting in a cleaner and more precise shaping.
